To continue the theme, I decided to make a logo in a similar style. So far in my construction process I have struggled to create a suitable logo. My previous attempts were rather lacking in creativity or complexity. I followed this tutorial to create my logo, which was a long process.
This is the font which i manipulated throughout the process.
Many layers had to be created, adjusting the RGB levels and then placing them slightly apart from each other. This created 3Dish effect. To then create the retro look, i had to add noise and gaussian blur. To further distort the text, I cut created half the text in a new layer by using the lasso tool. Next, I slightly misaligned the text and added a thin thin in the middle of the text.
Behind the text, I then added grey strips, which developed the logo and will make it easier to view on any background.
